Test Type

Compression Test
The composite compression test is a critical item for evaluating mechanical properties and is essential for material selection in applications. The test strictly adheres to relevant ASTM standards, such as ASTM D695 (Compression End Loading) and ASTM D3410 (Compression Shear Loading).
The test can utilize LSI's specialized equipment, paired with the LVE251C video extensometer (25mm field of view) for precise strain measurement. This device enables non-contact measurement, avoiding the influence of additional loads and tracking until specimen failure. The test fixtures are made of high-quality steel and precision-machined to minimize stress eccentricity and alignment errors, ensuring reliable data.
The test must be conducted in a compatible environmental chamber. For high-temperature scenarios, an extensometer with a special capacitive sensor can be selected, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 650℃. Through this test, core data such as elastic modulus and ultimate compressive strain can be obtained, providing an authoritative basis for the structural design of composite materials.
