Hydraulically Actuated High-Force Combined Loading Compression Test Fixture (ASTM D6641)
The hydraulic actuated test fixture is designed to provide convenience, consistency and efficiency in
conducting tests according to ASTM D6641/D6641M to understand the compressive properties of polymer matrix composite materials.
Compressive forces are applied to both ends of the test fixture, simultaneously generating combined shear and end loading to the specimen. Thanks to the clamping blocks that prevent buckling and end crushing, the fixture can be used to test both tabbed and untabbed specimens.
