LI5752I 750J Instrumented Falling Weight Impact Testing Machine

The LI5752I 750J Instrumented Drop Weight Impact Testing Machine is designed for high-energy impact testing of composite, plastic, metallic, and other material specimens, offering up to 750 J impact energy, instrumented data acquisition, and reliable single-impact analysis.

Overview

The LI5752I 750J Instrumented Drop Weight Impact Testing Machine is used to evaluate the impact damage resistance and high-speed puncture behavior of standard or non-standard specimens under drop-weight impact loading. The system records and analyzes force, displacement, time, velocity, and energy data, helping users obtain clear impact response curves and comparable test results.

Designed to meet the requirements of ASTM, EN, ISO and related instrumented impact standards, the tester integrates a rigid frame, instrumented striker, multi-standard fixtures, speed measurement, high-speed data acquisition, PLC control, PC software, and safety protection. It is suitable for laboratories requiring higher-energy and multi-standard impact testing capability.

Features

750 J High-Energy Impact Range
• Supports 4–200 J and 16–750 J impact testing for different specimen and fixture requirements.
Multi-Standard Testing Capability
• Supports fixture configurations for ASTM D7136, ASTM D3763, ISO 14556, and GB/T 19748 test methods.
Instrumented Impact Measurement
• Load sensors, speed measurement, and high-speed acquisition capture key impact data and generate analysis curves.
Secondary Impact Prevention
•  The catching mechanism helps stop striker rebound and supports reliable single-impact test results.
Safe and Flexible Operation
• PLC touch screen, PC control, transparent protective enclosure, safety interlock, and optional high-speed camera bracket support efficient testing.
