This instrumented drop weight impact tester is primarily designed for testing non-metallic materials. It is mainly used to determine the resistance to failure of various standard or non-standard composite plate-shaped specimens under impact loading. Upon completion of the test, the system can reproduce the instantaneous force-displacement-time curves of the impact process on a computer.
The tester integrates electrical control and software control technologies, enabling flexible dual control of the automated processes—such as lifting, impacting, and catching the hammer—either from the electrical control cabinet or the computer.
In addition, the machine is equipped with multiple protection measures to effectively ensure the operational safety of both the operators and the equipment.
This equipment meets the testing requirements of various international standards such as ASTM, EN, and ISO.
