Hydraulic Dual-Sided Flat-Push Tensile Grip

The DJY105B, DJY305B and DJY605B hydraulic dual-sided flat-push tensile grips provide 100, 300 or 600 kN capacity. Synchronized bilateral hydraulic clamping, horizontally moving jaws and specimen centering support fast setup, accurate alignment and stable tensile testing of metal and composite specimens.

Overview

The Hydraulic Dual-Sided Flat-Push Tensile Grip is designed for tensile testing of metal and composite specimens on compatible electronic universal testing machines. The fixture body remains fixed while the jaws travel horizontally from both sides toward the specimen, delivering a direct, controlled clamping action.
Powered by hydraulics, the grip is designed to maintain stable, reliable clamping force throughout the test. Its plate-specimen centering device supports precise positioning so that the loading axis aligns with the sensor centerline. The source design also specifies that clamping force is retained when a specimen fractures, helping keep the test setup secure during the event.

Design Features and Benefits

Synchronized Dual-Sided Hydraulic Clamping:
A bilateral hydraulic design with a synchronization mechanism enables quick, efficient clamping and jaw release.
Fixed Body, Horizontal Jaw Motion:
The grip body remains fixed while opposing jaws move horizontally to clamp the specimen from both sides.
Fast Jaw Changeover:
Jaws can be changed simply and conveniently to accommodate different specimen sizes.
Plate-Specimen Centering:
An integrated centering device supports fast, accurate positioning of plate specimens and helps align the loading axis with the sensor centerline.
Stable Retained Clamping Force:
Hydraulic power provides persistent, stable and reliable clamping during tensile testing; the source design specifies that force is retained after specimen fracture.

Application

This grip series is intended for tensile-test setups where secure holding and specimen alignment are required. Final configuration should be selected according to the specimen geometry, jaw option and compatible test machine.

Metal Materials:
Tensile testing of metal specimens on compatible electronic universal testing machines.
Composite Materials:
Tensile testing of composite specimens requiring stable hydraulic clamping.
Plate Specimens:
Testing of flat/plate samples using the centering device for accurate positioning.
Round Specimens:
Testing of round specimens within the specified V-jaw diameter ranges.
